I am Amanda Djäknegren, User Experience Design Engineer

I am passionate about the creational process, and always strive to fulfill the user's needs through user-centric design, creating a purposeful and enjoyable user experience. Understanding the user through user studies and analysis are skills which I have attained both from my M.Sc. studies and my professional experience. I am curious by nature and always keen to master new tools and skills that can contribute to the overall stakeholder value of products.

What I Love Doing

User Experience Design

Looking at a product in a holistic manner, considering the context as well as the user needs to create a better experience for the user.

User Studies

To understand the user's needs, and answer broad questions. This includes analysing and presenting the data to stakeholders in an actionable manner.

User-Centered Design

Designing solutions that fulfills the user's needs through an exploratory, iterative process.

Prototyping

Creating low and high fidelity prototypes for user studies, feedback and further development.

Functional Design

Design through digital and analogue means where form complements function to create a product that's easy to use.

3D Modelling

Modelling for design and prototyping in Catia, Inventor and Fusion 360.
